Subject: OK to use non-TSA lock or not? Posted on: Fri, 24 Aug 2007 23:31:25 -0500

At IAD, I had a non-TSA lock on my bag, and they didn't complain when I
checked my bag. But at SFO, they demanded that I remove the lock when I
checked my bag. What is the rule? I am OK with taking the risk that they
will need to break the lock.
