American Airlines Announces 15 More New Fees
1. Anyone trying to board before their row or seat is called is charged
a $100 fee.
2. Anyone blocking the aisle for more than 15 seconds while boarding is
charged a $100 fee.
3. Anyone snoring is charged a $100 fee.
4. Anyone with offensive body odor is charged a $100 fee.
5. Anyone staying in the lavatory for more than five minutes is charged
a $100 fee.
6. Anyone getting out of their seat more than once per hour on a flight
is charged a $100 fee.
7. Anyone more than 20% over their target weight for their height is
charged a $100 fee.
8. Anyone with a waist measurement greater than 40" is charged a $100 fee.
9. Anyone using the flight attendant call button to summon a flight
attendant is charged a $100 fee, whether or not a flight attendant responds.
10. Anyone forgetting to turn off their cell phone before takeoff is
charged a $100 fee.
11. Using the reading lights now costs $2 per hour (or portion of an hour).
12. Overhead bins cost $5 per hour per square foot of space.
13. Placing any item in the seat pocket costs $5 per flight regardless
of the flight duration).
14. Using the tray table, $5 per hour.
15. Reclining your seat, $5 per hour. |
