All of them have been of similar design, as far as I can recall (and I've had
them since they were first made). The key factor for ergonomy is the lateral
split of the keyboard into two parts, which eliminates (nearly) the need to
hold the hands at an angle compared to the arms. This reduces RSI
considerably.
