I was on a redeye from HNL to SFO that returned to HNL at about 3am.
They let us off the plane and kept us in the passenger lounge area
until we were reboarded about an hour later. There were no TSA
agents. The only HNL personnel were airline gate agents. The re-
screening by the TSA is a phony, made-up excuse. When you connect
from one flight to another, it is common to board the next plane
without being subjected to thte indignity of going through another TSA
screening. even during the daytime when lots of TSA inspectors are
available. Anyone who bought the re-screening story is just
demonstrating their gullibility. |
