Subject: Malaria standby medication for Sarawak and Sabah

I'll be travelling to Sarawak and Sabah next week and am looking for a
standby medication for malaria. Last December a doctor in KL gave me
Zadorin (= 100 mg Doxycyclin) as a standby medication against malaria
and typhoid. Has anybody used Doxycyclin and if so how are your
experiences ?

By the way, how big is the risk of catching Malaria in Bario (Kelabit
highlands), Belaga and the Mulu NP ?
