Subject: "Luxury Bus" from Bombay to Pune Posted on: Wed, 27 Aug 2003 11:17:20 -0700

it's only 3 hours or so, with lots of hairpin mountain curves. Trains leave
every few hours, and share taxis are very resonable.
I never take the bus in India. Never.Well, maybe once every 1,000,000 miles.
And then I sit all the way in back and cut the wires to the music speakers
in my section, and put in earplugs. Then I pray.
Is your luggage safe? Sometimes.
Are there bathroom breaks? Sometimes.
if the train doesnt fit your schedule, book a taxi. Your hotel will help you
find people to share it with you.
