I would have to agree with the Koh Tao suggestion. It has been built up a
lot since I first went there in 1995, but it's bound to happen. Still, it's
a far cry from Samui, which has been miserably overdeveloped for 10 years
now. It's a great place for diving, though not as clear as the sea on the
West side of Thailand. The pace of life is nice, not too frenetic...yet.
