You asked for subway maps, but I can't resist telling you about the
amazing city maps that I found on the JNTO website at:

http://www.jnto.go.jp/mapindex/E/index.html

It has maps of about 20 cities, and some of them, including Tokyo, are
detailed down to the block level. I printed out the area within about
a half-mile walk of my hotel and found it helpful on my trip.
