Income mobility is less in the USA than it is in Sweden, the
Netherlands, and similar to much of the rest of Europe, although
higher than france of course, working hard does you good everywhere,
no more so in Europe than anywhere else.
Also it's perfectly possible to join the royal families of many
European countries through marriage... Social mobility based on a
few members of Royal families hardly seems logical, they're a tiny
minority, there's just as much of a income heirachy in Europe and the
US, which all can get to the top of simply by getting money.
