Many BKK hotels will fit your requirements. However:-

The Pathumwan Princess www.pprincess.com
would be very suitable for you. It's part of the Mah
Boon Khrong (MBK) shopping complex. Walk through the glass doors from the
hotel lobby and you can shop till you drop and carry it back to your room !
Then you can walk through the
door at the far end of the Tokyu department store in MBK and you are in the
Skytrain system which will take you to the Silom Road shopping area, the
Patpong night markets, the Sukhumvit area where the Emporium is and even out
to the weekend (J.J) market .
