I'm considering a round-the-world type trip starting next April
(lasting about 8 wks) and I'm thinking about the following as the first
part of the intinerary:

San Francisco (home)
Hong Kong
Hanoi
Bangkok

All segments are by air cuz I'm too chicken to travel overland through
SE Asia, though I might change my mind on that.

What's Hanoi like in April weather wise? How easy is it to get around
for a westerner with no viet langugae skills? General comments on
Hanoi?
