Hotel Season's View, Jalan Alor. No horror stories, although in the
evening you might be approached by pimps (just say no).

To a certain extent yes, but taxis are metered, cheap and comfortable.
Insist that the driver use the meter.

The major sights of KL (Petronas towers, Chinatown, Lake Gardens, Batu
caves, perhaps Putrajaya, Muzium Negara). If you want you might spend a
night in the nearby Genting highlands. KL is good for shopping and
relaxing in the cafes.

Either taxi or the KL Express train.
