If you're near a beach, that means more breeze thus less mozzies (they like
still air and stagnant pools etc..). I've taken malaria tablets 3 times in
Goa and hardly seen a mozzie.
Wear repellent from dusk onwards, and get some scented smoke repellent
sticks for your balcony/patio etc.
Restaurants will have them anyway.
