These days, when a supply for an electronic item like a laptop says
"100V ~ 250V" it is what's called a "switch-mode" power supply and
does not need manual switching. If there aren't any obvious switches
on the supply for 110/220 conversion, don't sweat it. There is nothing
to be switched, just use it.
