I've stayed at the Radisson, and although it is quite a nice hotel,
the location isn't really convenient for anything.

The Amari Boulevard, on the other hand, is in Sukhumvit soi 5, which
is right next to a skytrain station and more central. Its an older
hotel, so if there's any construction going on it would probably be
some kind of renovations.
