Almost all HK companies have made huge investments in mainland China
not just in Shenzhen, but all over PRChina
Some of these companies already get over half of their turnover from
mainland customers.

If HK was still British, PRC would never allow HK companies to do that on
such a large scale.


BTW:
what exactly do you mean by "political situation " and
"anti democratic maneuvers from the mainland" ?

Is the "fear" itself the problem ?
