Japanese power is 50Hz or 60Hz (depending on where in the country) at
100VAC. The plug is the two-blade North American type. Look at the
label on the product to see if it will work. Many products nowadays
are 85~250 or some such at 50/60Hz and will work no problem. Others
may not work so well.
