I have entered all three of these countries on one-way tickets in the past
year (as wll as in the past). It has never been an issue. Once the Malaysian
inspector asked me if I had a return ticket, and I said no, and he said "you
are supposed to have one. Enjoy your stay in Malaysia."

If you want to be on the level, an e-ticket confirmation is as good as a
paper ticket as far as they are concerned.
