chance to visit due to scheduling during my last visit...

.. Most likely the tour agent would suggest "James Bond" island (it's
cheaper).. which along the way, will bring u thru some mangrove swamps
before reaching there.. Pretty bore at James Bond island due to lack of
activities there, but plenty of petty traders there selling some souvenirs

..No comment on this as we let our agent did all the "dirty" work then.

.. Quite a distance (if you mean the distance between Phuket town to the
beaches).. motorbike rental is available.. we rented a car the last time
round.. but be prepare for some chaotic traffic/roads..
