As a hetero.ual who hasn't been to USA for a generation, I have no
idea whether it's safe for gays to go out of their houses during the
day in Madison, Wisconsin, or even let their doctors know their .ual
orientation for fear of lynching. Since safety is extremely important,
I personally would not presume to offer any advice in this regard.

Anybody can dream up xenophobic fears about foreigners if they feel
like it. Keep them to yourself unless you have evidence that they're
worth venting in public.
