It should be pretty obvious that when we give the merchant our credit card,
we already agree to buy.

An addition to this: DO NOT let the merchant take your credit card and go
beyond your line of sight to do the swiping -- make sure they swipe it in
front of you.


> Please use your card only when you feel confident about the merchant.

This can be difficult unless you are refering to merchant outlets that you
frequent.
