My medications alone cost over $1000 a month......If I didn't have a medical
insurance policy, I would probably be dead right now.....My wife would
certainly have died a couple of years ago from thyroid cancer. This is not a
government policy. It is the medical insurance that I have paid into all of
my working life..........

Yes. So do we. And our school system is in worse shape than it has ever been
in in my entire life. My kid cut his classes for an entire semester about 25
years ago, and the school didn't even call me and tell me. When I was in
grammar school, if I wasn't sitting in my home room seat at 8:00 AM, my
mother's phone would be ringing by 8:05 AM.

That's typical of a police state....Change the rules after someone has been
living there for years and years. How can you sleep soundly when you don't
know whether you will be allowed to live from regime to regime?

Disability insurance here is typically about 2/3 of ones regular
salery.....There is something about your $450 a month that doesn't ring
true.....Are you sure there weren't some other extenuating circumstances?
