Mongkok and Wanchai Dienao Zhen (Computer centres) are the best bet
for getting a good deal.
Alternatively, you may spent another 100 RMB for a ticket to Guangzhou
(at China Travel Service near Mongkok Metro) and go to the local
Dienao Zhen. I got some good deals there.
For example I bought a 40 GB external UBS HDD Fujitsu MHL 2040
for converted 6000 Baht, when the price at Panthip was around 10000 B.
You may try as you please and get to know your Chinese options at the
same time.
Good luck
