Tough choice, both cities are outstanding and pains in the anatomy to be in.
Agra is worth more than a day trip with quite a few things to see. Still I
wouldn't enjoy it past several days. There are still more things for me to see
after several trips. South Delhi as opposed to the Red Fort (Delhi) has a lot
to see if you can dig it out. There is a great little handbook on the
monuments of Delhi. On balance I would lean to more time in Delhi as long as it
isn't too smoggy then. Note both places get insufferable in the summer and
freezing cold at times in the winter.
