I'm going to spend a month or so in Rajasthan starting late January. Am
wondering if anyone can answer the following questions for me:
1. Do you need hiking boots for a camel safari or are
trainers(sneakers)sufficient?
2. RE Ramthambhore National Park
Is it possible to arrive at Sawai Madhopur station on the train from
Delhi at 1:10pm and do an afternoon safari (at 2:30pm, but I think you
have to sign up by 2pm)at the Ramthambhore National Park? Has anyone
done this before? Are there any storage facilities or would they let
you leave your luggage at their office? If I couldn't store my
backpack, would it be possible to just bring it with me on the safari
or would there be no space on the truck? (I'd like to be on a jeep but
I heard it's almost impossible to book this close to the departure
date.)
3. A perhaps silly question: Are those "camera fees" at museums and
palaces PER camera or per person?
