Re: Budget hostel in Hong Kong Posted on: Sun, 27 Feb 2005 06:41:12 +0000

I tell those who look for a budget hostel (hotel)
Do go with the train to Shenzhen (Lou Mou) From the airport take a Bus
Nr. A43 to Sheung Shui Railway Station (28 HKD)
Then ask for a ticket (20 HKD) to Lou Mou, enter Shenzhen by foot.
You must have a Visa for China in your passport.
Then while leaving the railway station, head for the Shangrila hotel
(about 300 meters ahead) immediately thereafter turn right, and walk
to the block and ask for "Bing Guan).
You will find suitablle cheap hotels about 120 RMB and not only one.
A little bit of searching will give such poster idiots the boot.
I had enough of Hongkong years ago.
Good luck
