This is one of the most famous trekking regions in Nepal. Very few
places in the world have such a splendid variety of natural beauty as
the Annapurna region. The trek starts from Jomsom ascending to
Muktinath, a holy pilgrimage for both Hindus and Buddhists. The
mountain scenery will bring you lifetime memories. The trail follows
to the well-known place Ghorepani and then leads to the Machhapuchhre
Base Camp and the Annapurna Base Camp by passing colorful Gurung
villages, terraced fields, dense forest of pine and rhododendron. On
the return journey we will have a chance to visit the beautiful
village and the Gurung 'capital' of Gandruk before heading back to
Pokhara.
