Hello

i'm a regular contributor to rec.travel.europe but have decided to spread my
wings and venture into China in the Autumn. Can anyone recommend anywhere
for reasonably priced flights from the UK?

I'm reckoning on starting from Beijing or Shanghai as i'd like to experience
a chinese city but i'd also like some peace and quiet in beautiful rural
surroundings! What would be people's recommendations about how to approach a
3 week holiday in China which would satisfy both these desires? Happy to
travel around once there.
