Non Khai is a pleasant town for a couple of days stay - Mutmee GH is
excellent Borrow a cycle and go to see the Huge concrete statues ( the name
of the park escapes me now)
You can cross the border without the help of travel agents- whatever they
say !!
Can't help with Luang Prabang - saving that for another trip.
We spent a very relaxing 5 days in Vang Viang though. ( tubing, trekking
trips etc)
