Mrauk U
This place was allowed to visit by tourist only a few years ago.
Going to Mrauk U should not be in a rush and should not be searching
for comfort.
Mrauk U is rich in archaeological sites just like Bagan. If you are
interested in archaeology it is a must.
Getting there, you have to fly to Sittway, then about six hours boat
drive from Sittway to Mrauk U.

YANGON - SITTWAY - MRAUK U
~ Morning flight to Sittway. Arrival at Sittway airport and transfer to
jetty. Sittway to Mrauk U to chartered boat special breathe taking trip
and with the view of sunset.
~ Overnight at hotel in Mrauk U.
Day - 04
MRAUK U
~ Morning Mrauk U Sightseeing: After breakfast Shittaung Pagoda, Andaw
Thein Temple, Ratanabon Pagoda, Dukenthein Temple, Laymyatnhar Pagoda,
Laung Bwon Brauk Pagoda, Annawmar Image, Pitaket Tick Library. Lunch at
resturant.
~ Afternoon Sightseeing: Koethaung Temple, Ratana Manaung Pagoda, Sakya
Manaung Pagoda, Bandoola Monastery, Lat Kan lake Manaung Pagoda, Shwe
Daung Hill sunset and view over the Mrauk U.
~ Overnight at Hotel in Mrauk U.
Day - 05
MRAUK U
~ Morning Car trip Sightseeing: to Visali by car where Visali Image and
Visali Village, Producing rice noodle by Rakhine tradition. To Maha
Muni and colorful paddy farm on the way. Back to hotel or restaurant
and have the lunch.
~ Afternoon Around Mrauk U Sightseeing: To Boundwet Village and Dutch
Factory of 16 century stone building Shakma women are with big earing
and their traditional dress. To Mungal Shwegu Pagoda arid small
Monastery in the forest is nice to visit. To Loka manaung Pagoda,
Pharabaw Pagoda, Shwe Kyar Thein Mauktaw Gate. Sunset at Shwegudaung
Pagoda.
~ Overnight in Mrauk U.
Day - 06
MRAUK U - SITTWAY
~ Afternoon breakfast visit and shopping Mrauk U Bazzar, Museum and
Palace side. Visit to Mro Trib Village. Check Out at Hotel and transfer
to Jetty. Lunch at on the boat by river valley. Restaurant. Arrive
Sittway in the evening.
~ Evening Sittway sightseeing, U Ray Kyaw Thu Monastery, Pyi Lon
Chantha Image, Maha Kuthala Monastery Sunset of View Point beach.
~ Overnight at Sittway.
Day - 07
SITTWAY - YANGON
~ After breakfast Sightseeing Sittway market. Then excursion to Strand
Road, busy fishing boat. To Cultural Museum, Buddha Museum. Check out
at hotel and transfer to airport. Afternoon flight to Yangon.
~ Overnight at Yangon.
