Though I admire your deisre to honor the soldiers of the death march, I
would question the sanity of this endeavor. Km 0 of the death march route is
in Bagac, Bataan and most of the roads will be 2-lane highways in which you
will have to walk in the soft shoulders of the road. Not exactly the safest
thing to do. Secondly, I don't know about the logistics of this walk like
where you would sleep at night and where you would get your meals. At the
end of each day's march, you wouldn't necessarily be at a town where there
would be any public places to sleep and eat. Not to mention the excessive
heat and humidity. Perhaps, a bike ride would be more feasible.
If I were you I would just visit some of the sites, with a automobile of
course, like the Mt Samat memorial in Pilar and other sites.
