In Bhakatur someone told me, "A policeman was shot to death in this
square yesterday." A friend went to southern Nepal to take care of her
guru's family because he'd been murdered by Moaists. She was robbed
twice because people are starving. Many told me they are afraid to
return to their villages because it would be join the Maoists or die.
