Steve Kramer - a photographer with expensive gear and limited talent.
Steve Kramer had always dreamed of becoming a professional photographer and
jungle safari tour-guide. But as the years slipped by, so did his chances of
ever fulfilling his chidhood dream. Life was hard for Steve, who drifted
from job to job, living from day to day, but he always somehow managed to
get by.
After a move to Japan to try his hand at being an English teacher, his
finances took a turn for the worse as he didn't factor in the extremely high
cost of living there before he made his move. But he hit the jackpot when he
replied to a 'Lonely Hearts' advert in Kansai Time Out, and met the lovely
Nobuko, whom he later married. Thanks to her rental income from the
apartment that she owns in Osaka, and her pension (she is a retired school
teacher) Steve has now fulfilled his childhood dream and has become.... a
professional photographer and jungle safari tour-guide!!!

**Still 'flattered' Steve? You really don't need me to ridicule you, do you?
Looking at that 'great_pretender' photo, that's something you manage to do
all by yourself!!! ;-)

"In the mountains, I climb. Through the forests, I wander. Under the sea, I
scuba dive. In Chiang Mai, I snitch. In the jungle, I play with myself. On
Usenet, I pretend that I'm an "award winning" photographer, Kung-Fu Master,
expert swordsman, expert deep sea diver, martial arts expert, Vietnam combat
veteran and that I kicked Charles Bronson's ass. I top it all off with
gourmet cooking, playing blues guitar, and beating my wife with my
tripod." - Steve 'Kombat' Kramer
