No matter how you go you will enjoy Thailand,but there is a lot to be
said for going with an experienced tour company such as ours.The
difference is between having a fairly good time and the best time of
your life,especially if night life is one of your interests.There are
many pitfalls we could help you avoid-From the moment you arrive at
Bangkok Airport people will try to hussle you-more expensive
transport,hotel,guide service etc.In Bangkok many hotels do not allow
overnight guests or charge a lot extra.
Location is crutial in Bangkok as the traffic is murder and if you are
not well located you will find yourself stuck in traffic for hours on
end trying to get to and from places.In all likelyhood you will miss the
best night life and the small out of the way places and end up in only
the most touristy and expensive places.There are some serious ripoff
places especially in Pat Pong that a lot of first time tourists get
trapped in.Advice- never ask a cab driver where to go-no matter what you
want (night life,massage,shopping,etc.) he will take you to an expensive
place where he get's kick backs.Again regarding the night life if you do
not know what a fair price for the area or club is you will end up over
paying.Advice-Never (with few exceptions) pay the asking price for
anything including places like drug stores.
You always bargain.Here again we can help you sa far as how to bargain
and what really is a fair price for virtually anything.In Pattaya one of
the beaches is safe to swim in the other is not,etc.etc.
