I'm not sure about AC, but at a Holiday Inn Express in St. Paul, MN
(Which I stay at frequently), they *do* turn off the heat from spring
to fall. It's on a central steam system in a Railroad museum. Living
in Texas, I'm used to sleeping in a very warm room. I freeze my butt
off when I'm there.
