Apparently you have never see the guns they do carry in Thailand.
They are a single shot pistol, that shoots a shotgun shell. And they
do bomb, kidnap and probably behead people in the south.
Although as places go Thailand is not as dangerous many places,
except during Water Festival on the roads. I doubt there are many
if not any place as dangerous on the road, than the two weeks of
Water Festival in Thailand. I have seen the ladies that ride side
saddle on the motorcycle Taxis (who don't hold on anyway) role
some 10 or more meters down the road from the driver being
startled and swerving all over the road.
