Who cares what you think of dogs? I cannot imagine having a bird as a
pet, but millions of people do and I would not advocate beating the
birds to death in front of their owners as a solution to a health
problem. And this isn't about dogs. A pet is a pet is a pet. Human
beings develop attachments to all sorts of creatures, and this is part
of what makes us human. Why do I have to explain this to you? Are you
retarded?
