I'm going to work in Beijing for a couple of weeks and have time to
stay over for a holiday straight afterwards.

Can someone tell me the visa implications?

On my visa application (which my company is sorting for me) there are
options for more than one entry. The flights will be London - Beijing
and Beijing - London. I am considering going to another Country so I
forsee a possible complication when I re-enter China, especially with
regard to my luggage. I would like to fly to another asian country for
a holiday then return to Beijing for my scheduled flight home.

As I see it, I'll have to collect my luggage from the carousel, and
book in for my home flight. But how do I do this with minimum fuss?

Are visa's required for non-business entry?

Can anyone enlighten me please?
