End of March may not be such a great idea for Tioman. In fact, a lot
of the places will still be closed then. This is rough weather season
for Palau Tioman, and many of the tourist places close down for the
monsoon season.
However, as far as getting there (assuming these are still running;)
Fly directly from the Military airfield - 30 minutes
Hydrofoil from S'pore - 3 hours
Taxi from Jahor Bharu to Mersing (three hours) and ferry to Tioman
(another 2-3 hours unless they now have a faster boat) but due to
schedules - maybe overnight?
The diving is great around Labas Reef!
