Unfortunately. the Philippines is not much geared toward disabled people.
They have laws about giving access to disable people but they are not well
enforced. For instance, I have travelled on a boat that had disabled sticker
on the toilet. It was not a new toilet. They were required to offer a
disabled toilet so they stuck a diabled sticker on one. It had a 10cm lip on
the bottom of the door and would barely have been a metre wide. No
wheelchair was ever going to get inside and there was no hand rail either.
I have travelled in the Philippines with a disabled person. His main concern
for a hotel was that he could get his wheelchair in the room and once
inside, could get his wheelchair into the bathroom. Are your needs greater
than that? We didn't actually book rooms. We would pick out hotels that
looked ok and try out the rooms until we found one suitable.
Unfortunately, we never travelled together to CDO so I have no
recommendation there for you. However, here is a website you might find
