I like to travel light in India some of the time.
There are cheap laundries everywhere, cheap footwear on just about every
city street corner and get clothes made for absurdly low prices in a couple
of days everywhere as well.
The problem is that if you're not living in an air conditioned environment
you'll need to change clothes two or three times a day if you want to stay
comfortable.
My advice is that you travel light and buy what you need when you get there.
Also, almost as an aside, my experience is that it's hard to buy clothes
suitable for India outside of India...

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe.
Barbeques on fire by the chalets past the castle headland
I watched the gift shops glitter in the darkness off the Newborough gate
All these moments will be lost in time, like icecream on the beach
Time for tea.
