Not sure, should be something like 6 hours from SR to PP (or 8?). By
about 2pm you should be in PP. Can't remember the costs, but it should
be peanuts.

It's a good idea to stop at an ATM to get some cash when you arrive. The
hotel where I stayed was ok, but I'm sure that there are other, perhaps
even better hotels in SR. However, unless you expect luxury, the hotel
is not so important. You visit SR for the temples not its hotels.
