I've been here for decades as an American immigrant. I don't
usually have many questions, but do have quite a few answers. :-)

No doubt, but even many small towns in the bush have free
Internet access.

I'm sure enough, actually. A "Yank" migrant who has lived here
for decades, in Sydney and outback.
I wish I had the resources of the net when I came here. It is a
great resource and method of communication.
Unfortunately, some people try to inhibit free communication. Not
to mention any names, but out of curiosity do you feel a tingling
sensation in your ears? :-) Or perhaps some guilt feelings for
trying to drive me off this group?

Nothing about any possible hazards? ...Sure, all countries have
them.
If my wife and I had never been in the U.S. could we rely on you
to warn us of possible hazards there? Somehow I doubt it.

Do you mean to imply that no posters on this group are trying to
sell a "service", "product" or "information"? ...Not that
observant, are you?
Incidentally, I'm not trying to sell anything.

As you may, or should, know, all pubs in N.S.W. have to provide
accommodation as a requirement of their license.

>TOURISM TLandfried@esusda.gov

I'm sure they will provide some info, but why should any site
require a "subscription"? If they demand a "subscription" or
"registration" what they want to do is either sell you something
or sell your e-mail address to spammer's.
After all, what other motives would they possibly have? :-)

Any objection to free Internet access at libraries, in capital
cities or in the bush?

See previous comment. :-)

Must admit haven't checked this site. Will it include possible
hazards of bush travel? Will it tell a tourist that it is a
rare event to see a wild kangaroo or wallaby?
>All advertising is inappropriate and should be directed to the group
>rec.travel.marketplace.
Have you told others on the group about this? :-)
Are you willing to certify that every individual on this group
has nothing to sell, be it goods or services?
>END CHARTER.
Which most people aren't going to follow anyway.
Nor are the required to by the rules of Usenet. This is an "un
moderated" newsgroup, after all.
If you are bothered by my posts, you need not read them.
If you even purchased an inexpensive newsgroup reader such as
Agent Forte, or even used the free version, it might open up new
horizons for you, if you take the time to learn to run them.
Are the "stars at night both big and bright deep in the heart of
Texas" Considering the Northern hemisphere pollution, probably
not. They are here.
Cheers,
