(reissue) Where can I find BBC "Liver Birds" episodes dating to 1971 UK DECIMALIZATION Posted on: Sun, 6 Jul 2008 05:15:52 +0000 (UTC)

Where can I find BBC "Liver Birds" episodes dating to DECIMALIZATION (1971,
LB Season 2 & 3) ???
I somehow expect that decimalization must have made its way into the scripts
somehow.
Interesting prices noted for 1975: Front Loader Clothes Washer @ 100 UKP !!!
Oooutch that's dear!

time as BBC TV.

Liver Birds notes
-- The whole series should be available via .torrent files, but it isn't.
-- Hulu.com has no agreement to run BBC Classic Material (when the BBC TV
produced most of its content, 1945-1980s).
-- All Liver Birds episodes are in Colour as it was a "Flagship programme"
at the time.
-- Pauline Collins, of LB (Season 1) went on to do "Wodehouse Playhouse"
(1974-1976)
-- It would be nice if TVNZ did a remake of the series aka "The Welly
Birds", in Wellington via the Avalon Studios ... with Maori girls (as a drop
in for the Welsh ones) and the assorted mix of Asian girls in NZ that are
flat mates these days.
-- I could see a "Freo Birds" being done as Fremantle, WA (Australia) is the
only other suitable place for a series like this.

Note the Deep Space Network @ Home link hinted at in the vids, but you
really must go to
