If you get the chance, see the Pinnacles at night with a full or nearly
full moon. It's very spooky and evocative. Just be sure to drive *very*
slowly at night out their. From Cervantes to the Pinnacles is about 30km
return, and in that distance we spotted about 30 kanagroos by the side
of the road, ready to jump in front of the car.

Very good windsurfing and kite surfing in Gero.

If it's not too hot, the 8km walk around the Loop in the Kalbarri Gorge
is great. Beautiful scenery, colourful rock formations, and maybe a
refreshing dip in one of the water holes if there's water. There's also
a nice 8 km hike along the ocean bluffs that's pretty spectacular, and
you might get to see whales at certain times of the year. Wonderful
wildflowers in this part of the world, especially in spring.

Just be aware that these places in the Pilberra are the hottest in
Australia during Nov-Mar (inclusive) - it can be absolutely brutal.
Also, that time of the year is cyclone season, and many roads here and
further north might be impassable. Better to visit in the cooler/dryer
months.
