Hi,
I posted a while back, my husband and I are going to do the power trip
July 30-Aug 9. Our plan is to fly into Christchurch (from Sydney),
Sunday night in Christchurch, drive to Queenstown, monday night in
Queenstown, w/day trip to Milford sound, two days skiing at Treble
Cone, then Friday AM drive Wanaka to Greymouth (past Franz Josef), stay
in Hoepika(sp?) Friday night, Sat, walk on beach then drive to Picton,
stay in Picton. Sunday, ferry to Wellington and the drive up the east
coast towards Hawkes Bay, stay whereever, then Tuesday to Rotunda, and
wednesday to Aukland.
Crazy, I know, we have already decided we need to come back. We are not
going to Campervan. Question is... Do we need to have a 4 wheel drive
vehicle? I have been exploring websites and they seem to be hard to
find!
