Tom was a math professor after graduation from Harvard (?) and wrote the
poofy Harvard fight song "Fight Fiercly Harvard, fight fight fight!"
He was on National Public Radio about a year ago expressing curiousity
in regards to the urban myth of his premature passing due to cancer. I
think he's still alive but GOOGLE tired me out.
His Caribbean Calypso riff accompanied the words:
See de halibut, and de sturgeon,
being wiped out by detergen'...
fish gotta swim and birds gotta fly-
but dey don las long if dey try.
