Re: Advice needed - Trinidad & Tobago Posted on: Thu, Sep 25, 2003 5:07 PM

Ronald's correct about the mountains and the traffic between Trinidad and
Tobago after Carnival. Many people from Trinidad go to Tobago to unwind after
carnival, and they book a lot of the budget accommodations.
You might want to go against the traffic and consider visiting Tobago first,
then going to Trinidad.

Not correct. Even if the island is small, the hills from mid Tobago and
further north is, on the Caribbean side, very sharp! The southern part is
flat but not the middle part, itīs a big different between theese areas.
Itīs easy to go by bike if one choose the area from Crown Point up to
Plymoth and Arnos Vale, but when you pass Arnos Vale the hills getting very
sharp.

During Carnevale time travelling between Trinidad and Tobago sometimes can
be a problem, thereīs many who are travelling at that time, both by ferry
and by air.
