From what I've heard and seen, PR is probably your best bet, but you
will have to adjust to a different place than you're used to. Some
friends have worked for US or international companies down there and had
a great time, but others have been miserable, all due to their
expectations. The locals don't necessarily have your value system. What
they consider a living wage may be a joke to you. Your "poverty" may be
their "middle class". Their "friendly" may seem "reserved" or
"unfriendly" to you.
