Not familiar with Gran Porto Real, but PdC is a fun (if busy) place to
stay. Try El Faro for a neat beachfront hotel, or Treetops for an
inexpensive one just off the beach.

We stayed a little further south at Punta Bete, but did a day trip
into PdC. Check it out at:
